Located at 1190 Prince Ave, Athens, GA 30601, Daily Groceries Co-Op operates as an asian grocery store serving Athens in Georgia. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as deli, delivery service, natural goods store, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Athens with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in Georgia may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–8 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (706) 548-1732. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is dailygroceries.org, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 165 reviews, which is a strong result for an asian grocery store in Athens and suggests consistent service.

Athens is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Athens is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Georgia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This place probably won’t have what you need, ever. The flowers and produce aren’t always the freshest, either. Some of the employees are genuinely lovely, patient, and helpful, while others seem to run into frequent technical difficulties and don’t appear as willing to seek assistance, learn, or receive better training when they’re unsure how to handle something.

I had a really frustrating experience here today. We parked along the side of the road near the store, where there were already other cars, and had literally just gotten out of the car when two employees immediately came up to us. They told us we couldn’t park there and kept repeating that it was for grocery store customers only over and over without even letting us speak or explain anything. I understand that the parking may not have been allowed, and WE DID MOVE, so that’s not the issue. The issue is how they handled it. They didn’t ask a single question, didn’t give us a chance to respond, and just assumed right away that we weren’t going into the store. How would they even know that when we had just arrived????? There was also a Latin/Hispanic event happening nearby, and we are Hispanic, so the whole situation really didn’t sit right with me. It honestly felt like they looked at us and immediately made an assumption about where we were going and why we were there. Whether that was their intention or not, it came across as profiling and was very uncomfortable. Enforcing rules is one thing, but the way they approached us was rude, dismissive, and unnecessary. A simple, respectful

The prices were in my opinion higher than a larger grocery store, however they had a lot of organic items and new items that I haven’t seen at other grocery stores. The customer service was fine from what I can tell I was spoken to by one staff member. They have a deli for you to order from so I was surprised by that. Overall just wanted to go in to see how it was.

Always super friendly, helpful staff! The sweetest space. Lots of vegan desserts. A really, really good bean salad. Couldn't ask for more 😊
